Psalm 10:12 Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.

Psalm 10: It looks like David complains a lot, but the good thing is, he complained only to the Lord. When it came to his life, he was very forgiving of the wicked and his enemies. A good example of casting your cares on the Lord.

Psalms 10:(v17) O LORD, you hear the desire of the afflicted; you will strengthen their heart; you will incline your ear.
Strengthen our hearts Lord, to seek you, trust in you and to have confidence and faith in you even in times of trouble.

Psalm 10: Best way to handle the arrogant, wicked, greedy, proud, oppressor, and evildoer. Pray to God and let God act on our behalf.

“The Lord is King FOREVER and EVER…” ~ Psalm 10:16. The first 11 verses talk about the evil that surrounds us every day that may cause us to forget about God. The final 7 verses say that God WILL NOT forget the humble but will help them and protect them. –

“In his arrogance the wicked man hunts down the weak, who are caught in the schemes he devises.” ~ Psalm 10:2. If we are more privileged than other people, we shouldn’t make fun of them for it or make them suffer for it. Instead we should help them up and help overcome there problem instead of ‘hunt down the weak’. –

“Arise, Lord! Lift up your hand, O God. Do not forget the helpless”.- This verse says that God will not forget the less fortunate and cares for everyone.

(v4,7) We should not be like the wicked man, because he has a mouth full of lies and he doesn’t believe in God. He doesn’t have a room for God in his heart. So we shouldn’t be like the wicked man.

(v11) The wicked man thinks that he can hide from the Lord, but nobody can hide themselves from the Lord.

The wicked man is someone who hides from God and persecutes the weak and helpless people. So we shouldn’t be like the wicked man and because no one can hide from God. –

Telescope made of tears. The Psalmist is looking through his tears and sees God standing still (v.1). First he says he appears to be far off but next he complains of his hiddenness(v1b). God is not an ever present shepherd but more like a cold, inaccessible, far off mountain while the Psalmist is submerging in river in a valley.
David appears to be lamenting his troubles. But I think David is not concerned about the presence of his troubles rather far far more worried about the absence of God in the midst of his troubles and confusion. Where are you ? is the question not why is this happening to me?
Even a goldsmith is supposed to be always near the furnace while he is working on the gold piece.

V4 -he is proud. The wicked does not seek him. There is no room for God in his thoughts.

Like the psalmist, sometimes we also think why bad guys prosper /win games and good ones suffer, but God allows certain things and it is difficult for us to understand.I always refer the following verse when I get such a thought in my mind:
வெளி 22:11 அநியாயஞ்செய்கிறவன் இன்னும் அநியாயஞ் செய்யட்டும், அசுத்தமாயிருக்கிறவன் இன்னும் அசுத்தமாயிருக்கட்டும், நீதியுள்ளவன் இன்னும் நீதிசெய்யட்டும், பரிசுத்தமுள்ளவன் இன்னும் பரிசுத்தமாகட்டும்.

Psalm 10:12- “Arise, Lord! Lift up your hand, O God.” – No matter what we are experiencing today, we need to always turn to the Lord first. In times of trouble and suffering turn to Lord first. In times of joy and victory turn to the Lord first. In times of frustration and confusion turn to the Lord first. The first step we take is so important for us and it shows where our faith lies. Let us commit ourselves to our Lord humbly trusting in his mercy. He will rescue all believers from the arm of every wicked oppressor.காக்கும் கரங்கள் உண்டெனக்கு

O LORD, you hear the desire of the afflicted; you will strengthen their heart; you will incline your ear – Psalm 10:17

Psalm 10 -(v18) …merely earthly mortals.
-We are merely earthly mortals, perishables. Remember, God “formed” a man from the dust of the ground.
-Let’s surrender ourselves to Him.
