Psalm 27

Psalm 26: David confidently says that he has walked in his integrity (past) and walk in his integrity (present). How we live now is equally important as how we lived then. We cannot rely on our past; we need his grace for our present. Lord, redeem me and be gracious to me. Amen!

Psalm 27: One thing have I asked of the Lord, to dwell in his house, to gaze on his beauty and to seek him in his temple all the days of my life (v. 5)

Psalm 27 -(v1) The LORD is my light and salvation – whom shall I fear?
-Jesus is the “Light” and “Life” (eternal). John 8:12, John 14:6.
-If we are in this “Light”, we shall not fear, and the eternal “Life” is guaranteed.

“The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭27:1, 10‬ ‭
It means that the Lord will always be by your side and we shouldn’t be afraid of the wickedness because God is always with us and he will protect us from the wicked.
