Psalm 32

There is hope only in God’s covenant love – steadfast love

David’s bold declaration of trust showed that he was not ashamed to call upon the Lord. He considered it appropriate that God does not let His servant to be ashamed before his enemies and adversaries.

Psalm 31: My times are in your hands (v. 15)

“But I trust in you, Lord; I say, “You are my God.”‭‭Psalm‬ ‭31:14

Psalm 32: God will instruct, teach and counsel us. He takes the responsibility. If he gave it to us we would be like horses and mules, blindly controlled and without any understanding (vv. 8, 9)

Psalm 32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye

As seen in the first half of Psalm 32, David shows us how wonderful it is to be forgiven. It reminds us about the Lord’s Prayer, when it says “Forgive us our debts, so that we may forgive our debtors”. We should share the joy that we receive with others through forgiveness. –

“You are my hiding place; you will surround me with songs of deliverance.” ~ Psalm 32:7. No matter what difficult time we are in in life, God will be with us and he will surround us with deliverance. –

Psalm 32 -(v5) I will confess my transgressions to the LORD.
-When we repent, the Lord forgives the guilt of our sin. Not only that…
-He protects us, instructs us, counsels us, and above all His unfailing love surrounds us (v7-10).
