Psalm 44

It was not by their sword that they won the land,nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them.

Psalm:43″Why are you cast down , O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him , The help of my countenance and my God.”(v5)
Faith may have a long struggle with fear, but it will have the last word, and that word will be ‘the help of my countenance and my God
Psalm:44
” Would not God search this out? For He knows the secrets of the heart. “(V21)
God will tell us what we have done wrong, if we had done something wrong

Psalm 44: It would be great if our nation (every individual in our nation) understands that our God knows the secrets of the heart (v. 21), boasts in God (v. 8), and gives thanks to Him forever (v. 8).

Psalm 44- The Psalmist acknowledges that the past victories for the people of Israel was by God’s right hand, his own arm and through the light of God’s countenance.I want to join with the Psalmist and say, “Thank you Lord for all that you have done in my life.”

Psalm 44: This psalm’s author could easily have been Job. The sons of Korah acknowledged the hand of God for their prosperity and are confused by the change of fortune. They claim they had not forgotten God or his covenant and like Job they did not lose their integrity even as they cried, “…redeem us because of your unfailing love” (v. 26). A great lesson in trusting God.

Psalm 44:26 Arise for our help and redeem us for thy mercies’ sake.

We should always remember what God has done for us because it is easy to forget about God and His grace when we are facing troubles. More importantly, we should praise God continually, for He deserves all praise (v. 7-8). –

Whenever something good happens to us, like a job offer of a good music performance or something, we should give it all to God because we would not have been able to do it without him. – .

Psalm 43- (v.24) Why do you hide your face and forget our misery and oppression? Why is God hiding from us? He wants us to get get closer to him in times of trouble.

Psalm 44 -(v26) Redeem us for thy mercies’s sake.
-For it is by “Grace” you have been saved, through faith–and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. (Ephe 2:8)
-Our Redeemer has redeemed us by His “Grace” through our “faith”; so we can proudly say we are saved!
