Psalm 79

Psalm 79: “Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of your name; deliver us, and forgive our sins for your name’s sake” (v. 9). Having understood our unworthiness (we have nothing to claim), Asaph heavily places his claim on God (for the glory of your name and your name’s sake).

Psalm 79:13 “Then we your people, the flock of your pasture, will give thanks to you forever; from generation to generation we will recount your praise.”

Psalm 79 -(v9) Help us, God our Savior, for the glory of your name; deliver us and forgive our sins for you name’ sake.
-I’m a sinner, I’m unclean, I’m unworthy. My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, forgives my sins, cleanses me, makes me worthy, and fills me with His Spirit, to live a life like Him, and for Him.

Psalm 79:11. Everywhere in the news we always here about refugees, prisoners, etc. etc. God hears all of their prayers and He will take care of them and bring them to safety.
