Psalm 89- God will not forget his promises. David is reminding God about the promises when he was going through a rough phase in life.It is ok to remind God.

Psalm 89: Verses 20-29 talk about the how God called (v. 29), consecrated (v. 29), confirmed (vv. 21-27), and covenanted David (v.28).

The heavens are yours; the earth also is yours; the world and all that is in it, you have founded them. – Psalm 89:11. You are the maker of heaven and earth and we praise you!!

Psalm 89:1-2 These 2 verses mean that we should praise God forever and sung if his name, for everything he has done for us.

Psalm 89: 15, 16. Blessed are those who have learned to praise you in a strong and enthusiastic way, for they will rejoice in your name all day long. This is the outcome of meditating on the amazing works of God seen in the preceding verses.

Psalm 89:6-8. The wonders our God has done is incredible. No one can be compared to our God because he more awesome than all those who surround him.

Psalm 89:7. We are always to hold God in reverence, for He has cared for us, nurtured us, and has never forsaken us. We love Him because He first loved us (1 John 4:19). –

Psalm 89 tells us about our COVENANT LORD.When the Lord makes a covenant:
(v21)The Lord’s hand will sustain and strengthen him.
(v22,23) The Lord will crush his foes and enemies.
(v24)The Lord’s love will be with him and through the Lord he will be exalted.
(v27)The Lord will appoint him at the highest point.
(v28)His covenant will never fail.his love is forever.
(v4,29,36)He establishes his line forever.
(v33)he will not take away his love.
(v34) He will not violate his covenant. He will not alter what his lips uttered.
(v35)The Lord has sworn. He will not lie.
(v37)The covenant relationship will be established FOREVER.

Psalm 89 (v1) with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations.
-Through our faith on Jesus Christ we are His disciples now, it’s our responsibility to make disciples for Jesus!

Psalm 89 Ethan shows that any appeal to God to respond or listen to our condition has to be based on his covenant to David. No one in the right mind can appeal to Mosaic covenant.
