Psalm 93

Psalm 93: My God is king. Clothed in majesty and girded with strength. He has established the world; it shall never be moved (v. 1).

Psalm 93: The Lord reigns. His throne is established from of old. OT reference to the Kingdom of God?

Psalm 93: The Lord reigns, everlasting, mighty, holy and forever.

Psalm 93- We worship a God who is king of kings and Lord of Lords. Above all He is a holy God.

Psalm 93:4 Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea, the Lord on high is mighty.

Psalm 93 The Lord is majestic, mighty, everlasting, trustworthy and holy.

Psalm 93: (v5) Holiness adorns your house for endless days.
There is no one holy like our God. He alone is holy for endless days.
The beauty of your house is your holiness. Help us to realize that your holiness is the beauty of our church. It is you and your grace that makes us holy. Cleanse us and purify us dear Lord to be with you.

Psalm 93: It describes about our glorious king- The Lord reigns! His kingdom is established from of old. The Lord is mightier than the sea. Holiness adorns your house forever.

Psalm 93 -(v2) Your throne was established long ago; you are from all eternity.
-He is the alpha, and He is the omega! He is the living God, and He lives forever.
-Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever (Hebrew 13:8).

We are constantly using terms like “look at him. He looks majestic. That person has a lot of strength”. English is deceptive. In all these terms, majesty and strength are emblematic- they resemble something of majesty or strength. This tiny Psalm pulls no punches.
God does not just look majestic but he is majesty itself. When we say he or she looks majestic, those are words that reflect dimly what God in his infinity is. He is wearing majesty . Period.
